$1 million is donated by Taylor Swift to the Tennessee Tornado Relief Fund.

Taylor Swift donated $1 million to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee in response to the deadly tornadoes in the Middle Tennessee area on Dec 9.

The storms caused extensive damage, leaving at least six dead and dozens injured in areas like Clarksville, Madison, Gallatin, and Hendersonville.

The National Weather Service reported an 11-mile tornado path in Clarksville with winds peaking at 150 mph.

Hal Cato, CEO of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, expressed gratitude for Swift's support, highlighting her deep commitment to her Tennessee roots.

Swift previously donated $1 million to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund in March 2020 after tornadoes hit the region.

Swift's philanthropy extends beyond natural disasters; during The Eras Tour, she donated to food banks in cities where she performed, including a substantial contribution to the Second Harvest of Silicon Valley Food Bank.

The food bank stated that Swift's donation could nourish about 500,000 people every month in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

In addition to her recent tornado relief contribution, Swift showed generosity by giving $100,000 bonuses to The Eras Tour truck drivers and extending bonuses to other touring members.
