Alisha Lehmann works! Despite Women's Super League pause over holidays, Aston Villa standout took gym pic.

Though the Women's Super League is taking a break for the winter, Alisha Lehmann is working out hard in the gym.

In the midst of joyous festivities, the Aston Villa player shared a picture of herself working out on her Instagram story, demonstrating her dedication off the pitch.

Winter break has put the Women's Super League on pause; it will resume in the new year.

Lehmann, who has made eight appearances for her team in the 2023–24 season, recently shared on social media her resolution for the coming year: she wants to be even more driven for success in 2024.

With nine points from their first ten games, the Villans are in ninth in the league. She has scored twice in the WSL so far.

The 24-year-old has declared that she will definitely participate in the "Baller League," an indoor football competition scheduled for January 2024.

German defender Mat Hummers and former Arsenal player Lukas Podolski will accompany her.

The striker's next match for her team is against Everton in the Women's FA Cup on January 13. A cup run might be exactly what the Villans need to turn their struggling league campaign around.
