At the Rio 'Eras Tour' stop, a Taylor Swift fan passed away from heat exhaustion, according to a forensics report.

More than a month after the tragic death of the 23-year-old fan during Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" stop in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian authorities have revealed the official cause of death.

Ana Clara Benevides died from heat exhaustion, according to Rio's Forensic Medical Institute.

According to the report, Benevides passed out during Swift's performance of "Cruel Summer," the second song in her set, on November 17 at the Rio de Janeiro concert.

According to the forensics expert, Benevides's exposure to heat resulted in a "serious compromise of her lungs," which ultimately caused a cardiorespiratory arrest in the young woman. Additionally, the report asserted that there were no drug abuse issues or preexisting conditions.

After being taken to a nearby hospital, Benevides passed away a few hours later.

A Swift representative did not reply to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Before the concert, fans waited in line for hours, and many of them accused the organizers of not providing enough water for the over 60,000 people that planned to attend the event at Nilton Santos Stadium.

they were not permitted to enter the stadium with their own water. That day, Rio de Janeiro saw temperatures as high as 105 F.
