Christmas for Carrie Underwood is 'seeing everything through my sons' eyes'

Carrie Underwood is sharing a glimpse of her ideal Christmas.

The country music artist, who debuted her own Christmas album in 2020, claims that her two young sons, whom she shares with her husband Mike Fisher, a former NHL player, make her holidays more special.

"It's all about getting to spend time with family and seeing it through my sons' eyes," she said in a social media video.

"We usually travel a lot during the Christmas season. We're going to visit my husband's or my family. I'll be in the kitchen all day.

The vegetarian said, "Even though I don't eat turkey, I'll make a small turkey."

"I'll just make a ridiculous amount of food," she said, mentioning sweet potato casserole as one of her favorite dishes.

Underwood claims that she spends time by the fire with her boys, Jacob, 4, and Isaiah, 8, at home.

Regarding their customs, "we wait for Santa, open our presents, and then we're off to see the next group of family," she explained.
