Green Day's 'MAGA Agenda' Is Unpopular with Trump Supporter

The performance of Green Day on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" has many fans of Donald Trump in tears.

Lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong modified the lyrics of the band's hit song "American Idiot" from "I'm not a part  ,

of a redneck agenda" to "I'm not a part of the MAGA agenda" during the group's New Year's Eve performance.

The video below shows that the audience applauded as the lyrics changed. However,

Green Day's "MAGA agenda" caused the "Make America great again" supporters to lose their minds on social media.

The band was targeted by Trump supporters who called them "sellouts," "losers," and "pro big government.

But a lot of pro-Green Day and/or anti-MAGA people quickly brought out  ,

the fact that the song was composed as a criticism of George W. Bush's presidency and that the band has never hidden its political views.
