Jelly Roll's amazing year ends with their "New Year's Rockin' Eve" performance.

Megan Thee Stallion's performance from New York came before Jelly Roll's set. Earlier in the evening, Tyla sang "Water,"

while Sabrina Carpenter gave performances of "Feather" and "Nonsense," supported by male dancers dressed in suits.

Other performers that were broadcasting from Los Angeles included Green Day, Janelle Monáe, Reneé Rapp, Bebe Rexha, and Nile Rodgers and Chic. "Super Shy" was also delivered by NewJeans from South Korea.

The Tennessee rapper-turned-country singer was nominated for a 2024 Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category after taking up the Country Music Association Award for New Artist of the Year this year.

In a video from November, he stated, "I'm not sure if I should post this or not because I'm so emotional,

but the greatest honor an artist can ever hear is that they've been nominated for a Grammy." His face was full of emotions. "I learned that this morning."

This year, Jelly Roll, a seasoned rapper and mixtape hustler, made a smooth shift into the country and rock genres.

In June, he released his album Whitsitt Chapel, which included hits like "Behind Bars," "Dancing With the Devil," and "Halfway to Hell."
