Ladies' 1000-Lb. Weight loss surgery has been "wonderful" for Tammy Slaton's hair growth: Feeling Proud

"The surgery was great for my hair, body, and health and has turned things around." For everything I have!" Tammy Slaton was proud

Tammy Slaton talks about how the surgery she had to lose weight has helped her in more ways than one.

The 37-year-old 1000-Lb. Sisters star shared a TikTok video on Wednesday in response to a fan who said nice things about her hair.

"Well, I guess I wanted to talk about my hair. Watching the show? In the third episode of the fourth season, you can see that I used to have red, curly hair. "That was in February, and my hair has grown in so much since then," she said with a smile.

"So the surgery was a great success for my hair, body, and health." She gushed, "And for my everything!" "I'm happy with myself and my hair, but it's still a work in progress."

Tammy just recently talked about how her weight loss journey has changed her life and the important goals she's reached since she started. She used to weigh 725 pounds and has lost 440 pounds. In July 2022, she had weight loss surgery and is now 285 pounds lighter.

She told PEOPLE, "One of the big changes I've been through this past year is probably small to most people." "But it was huge for me."

"Not having to use a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair and just being able to walk." She bragged, "I don't even sleep with it at night anymore." "First it had to fit in a regular car's front seat. Then it had to fit around the belt buckle without an extender." I mean, something that some people think is small is huge for me."
