NFL fines Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid for postgame comments about officiating in Bills-Chiefs game, per report

The refereeing of the Kansas City Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 left them less than satisfied.

On Kansas City's last drive of the game, wideout Kadarius Toney would have scored the game-winning

touchdown on a lateral from tight end Travis Kelce, but an offsides penalty levied on him canceled the play.

Mahomes was clearly agitated on the sidelines, 

and he and head coach Andy Reid expressed dissatisfaction with the postgame officiating, putting them in the league office's crosshairs.

Since then, the NFL has penalized Reid and Mahomes for their remarks about the officials made during the game,

according to NFL Media. In particular, Mahomes was fined $50,000 and Reid was penalized $100,000.
