Swift surpasses Presley in the number of weeks her song is number one.

With a bang, Taylor Swift is capping off an incredible year by breaking Elvis Presley's record  ,

for the longest weeks a single artist has spent at number one on the Billboard 200 list.

The most recent list, which was released on Sunday, shows that Swift has been at the top for 68 total weeks  ,

after her song 1989 (Taylor's Version) achieved its fifth consecutive #1 spot.The Grammy winner's 2022 album Midnights is also ranked in the top 10.

With 132 weeks at number one on the album chart, The Beatles hold the record for most weeks at the top of any act's chart, 

solo or with a group.With the release of Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version), Taylor broke the record for the most #1 albums by a woman.  

Her Eras Tour was the first to gross $1 billion, and the film adaptation of her Eras Tour achieved the highest box office opening for a concert film.  

This news comes as Taylor caps off an incredible 2023.
