The record was held by Elvis Presley before it was broken by Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is beginning 2024 in the same manner as she concluded 2023. For the fifth week running, 

her album "1989 (Taylor's Version)" is ranked #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.Now, her albums have spent 68 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200.

At number one, Swift now holds the record for the solo artist with the most weeks. Elvis Presley had previously held the record. 

Between 1956 and 2022, he had ten albums debut at number one, whereas Swift had thirteen albums do the same. 

Swift's first No. 1 album was Fearless. When it released in 2008, it topped the charts for 11 weeks. 

Swift is currently just behind the Beatles, who remained at the top for 132 weeks.Having been a mainstay in the media for almost ten years,  

Swift might have had her best year to date in 2023. According to Pollstar, her Eras international tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time.  

Just nine months after it began operations in the United States, Mexico, and South America in March, it crossed the $1 billion milestone.
